Passover Puppets

Create puppets with household items

  • 35 minute on-demand video
  • Ages 8+, with parental help
  • $5.00

In this class

In this class, we'll transform an everyday piece of cardboard (from the inside of a TP roll) into a series of puppets that tell the story of Passover. My kids loved making these with me and creating our own puppet show together! In the video I demonstrate how to make Moses, Pharaoh, and two background scenes. Miriam and Aaron are shown in the video, but I don't include step by step instructions. You can make them from your imagination, based on the principles learned with Moses and Pharaoh.

Materials

  • Inner cardboard from 3-4 toilet paper rolls (you may also use paper towel cardboard)
  • Black Marker
  • Oil Pastels or markers/crayons
  • 2 shees of black construction paper
  • Scissors and tape
